Yeung Fan ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to mobile applications, desktop applications, and related services developed, operated, or published by Yeung Fan that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "App").
Our apps may provide different features and may use different device permissions or service providers. We process only the information required by the features actually enabled in the App you use. The inclusion of a data category in this general policy does not mean that every App processes that category. App-specific permission notices, in-app disclosures, Google Play Data safety disclosures, and lists of third-party services form part of this Privacy Policy. More specific notices take precedence where applicable.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please stop using and uninstall the App.
We follow the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, storage limitation, and security.
At present, we do not actively collect personal information that directly identifies you. If you contact us through an app store, email, or another support channel, the relevant platform or email provider may provide us with the contact details, message, screenshots, and attachments that you choose to submit. We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot problems, or protect legal rights.
Please do not include government identification, financial account information, precise location, health information, biometric information, or other unnecessary sensitive information in a support request.
Depending on the App and the feature you choose to use, the App may request access to the camera, photos and media, files, microphone, notifications, network connection, Bluetooth, nearby devices, approximate location, clipboard, or other system capabilities.
Unless an App-specific notice states otherwise:
If a feature requires content selected by you to be transmitted to a server or third-party service, we will provide an appropriate disclosure before transmission and request consent where required by law.
To provide features, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and understand general App performance, the App—or the app store, operating system, or service providers used by the App—may process limited technical information such as:
We use this information only for App functionality, maintenance, security, debugging, performance improvement, and aggregate analytics. We do not use it to determine your real-world identity. Where reasonably possible, we use aggregation, de-identification, short retention periods, or on-device analysis.
Device identifiers, IP addresses, usage records, and diagnostic information may still constitute personal data under some laws even when they do not include a name. We therefore protect and disclose their processing as required by applicable law.
Native Apps generally do not use traditional website cookies. If an App contains a website, WebView, or online service, that service may use cookies, local storage, or similar technology strictly for functionality, security, preferences, and basic analytics.
We currently do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not currently use personal information for targeted advertising. If a future App introduces advertising or tracking, we will update this policy and the relevant Google Play disclosures before the change takes effect and will provide consent or opt-out controls where required.
An App may depend on the operating system, Google Play services, cloud infrastructure, crash reporting, analytics, payment processing, maps, translation, or other third-party services to provide a specific feature. Those providers may process necessary information under their own privacy policies.
We aim to:
This general clause does not authorize undisclosed third parties to process user data. App stores, operating-system providers, payment platforms, and external websites that you choose to use may act as independent data controllers and are governed by their own terms and policies.
We may use information described in this policy to:
We will not use personal information for a materially different purpose without providing further notice and obtaining consent where required.
We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only in the following circumstances:
We retain information only for the shortest period reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
If an App offers user accounts, users may request account deletion through the in-App deletion option and any external deletion page identified in its Google Play listing, or by emailing yfan202201@gmail.com. After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize associated information unless retention is permitted or required by law. Uninstalling an App does not necessarily delete server-side account information.
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature and risk of the information, which may include data minimization, least-privilege access, access controls, encryption in transit, secure updates, logging controls, de-identification, and service-provider review.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. If a security incident is likely to affect users' rights, we will take appropriate remedial and notification measures as required by applicable law.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to know, access, receive a copy of, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data; withdraw consent; request data portability; close an account; and obtain an explanation of applicable processing rules.
You may exercise available choices by:
We may need to verify a request to prevent unauthorized access or deletion. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully completed before withdrawal or processing based on another lawful ground.
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), applies, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information; to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising their rights.
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Requests may be submitted to yfan202201@gmail.com.
Where applicable, our legal grounds for processing may include performance of a service requested by you, your consent, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in securing, maintaining, and improving the App where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your country or region.
We do not intend to process sensitive personal information as a normal part of our Apps. If a future App's core feature requires precise location, biometric data, health data, financial account information, children's data, or another category treated as sensitive by applicable law, we will apply strict necessity and security controls, provide a specific notice, conduct any required assessment, and obtain separate or explicit consent where required.
Refusing to provide sensitive information will not prevent access to unrelated features.
This general policy does not mean that every App is designed for children. Unless a particular App is expressly identified as a child-directed or family App, our Apps are not directed primarily to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age of digital consent.
If an App is directed to children, or if we learn that a user is a child under applicable law, we will apply a dedicated children's privacy approach, restrict data processing and third-party services, and obtain verifiable parental consent where required. A parent or guardian who believes that a child has provided personal information may contact us at yfan202201@gmail.com to request its deletion.
Where reasonably possible, we select processing locations appropriate to the user's region and the relevant feature. If an App uses a service provider in another country or transfers personal data internationally, we will use a lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards required by applicable law, such as appropriate disclosures, consent, contractual protections, or regulatory procedures.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features, technology, service providers, or legal requirements. We will revise the "Last Updated" date and, when a change materially affects users, provide notice through the App, release notes, or another appropriate channel. We will request renewed consent where required.
We will not rely on broad wording in this policy to add materially different processing purposes, sensitive permissions, third-party sharing, advertising tracking, or international transfers without an appropriate specific notice.
